New Men’s Adidas At The 2018 Australian Open

While the United States shivers, it’s nothing but blue skies and warm weather in Australia as we approach Slam Number One of 2018 AKA the Australian Open, mates. Adidas has focused on a light yellow/blue heather vibe as their main theme for this event, so let’s take a look at what their top male endorsers will be sporting Down Undah.

Lightweight garments are key for the tournament, since the sun can give a player an awful beating. Taking inspiration from Melbourne’s famous coastal city landscape, adidas has created a look that works for the beach as much as the courts. This is called, predictably, the Melbourne Line. Available today globally. Find it: TW/Europe

Melbourne is one of my favorite cities. I find the beach really inspiring and love playing the Australian Open each season. The adidas Melbourne Line has a casual but unique design, with the performance technologies I need to compete in the heat of the Australian summer. – Sascha Zverev

Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem (and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga) will sport the Melbourne polo in Semi-Frozen Yellow, (although nothing stays frozen in Melbourne this time of year except for the daiquiris sold at the concession stands) which also includes ClimaLite technology, as well as the ClimaLite stretch woven shorts in navy. Tsonga will also debut the Barricade BOOST 2018 shoe.

Lucas Pouille

Lucas Pouille is a name perhaps not as well known as Zverev and Thiem, who seem destined for a ages-long Borg/McEnroe rivalry. But the 23 year old Frenchman is ranked #18 (just a few spots behind Tsonga, down from a career high #13) and you need to watch this guy. Cool dye effect through the shirt, sharp new styling detail.
